Cookie policy

How cookies work on Versto

This page explains which cookie categories we use, what they do, and how you can control optional tracking on versto.io.

Essential cookies stay on. Optional analytics and ad-measurement cookies are accepted by default unless your browser sends a recognized Global Privacy Control signal.

You can accept all cookies, keep only essential cookies, or reopen settings at any time. Our privacy practices are summarized on the privacy page.

When optional measurement is enabled, third-party providers (Google, Meta, and LinkedIn) may receive data such as page URL, browser details, identifiers, and IP-based location information under their own terms.

Essential cookies

Always on

These cookies are required for secure sign-in, routing, fraud prevention, session continuity, form handling, and remembering your cookie choice.

Examples include the Versto cookie-preference cookie and authentication or session cookies used by our infrastructure providers.

Analytics and measurement cookies

Optional

These cookies and scripts help us understand traffic, page usage, site performance, and ad-campaign effectiveness so we can improve the site and measure results across channels.

When enabled, this can include the optional Versto analytics visitor cookie, Google tag or Google Ads measurement, Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, and Vercel Analytics or Speed Insights, along with cookies such as _ga*, _gcl_*, _fbp, _fbc, and li_*.

How to manage your preferences

You can update cookie choices from the banner, the footer link, or the settings button above. If your browser sends a recognized Global Privacy Control signal, Versto keeps optional measurement cookies off while that signal is active.

Accept all

Keeps optional analytics and ad-measurement cookies on in addition to essential cookies.

Only essential

Keeps the site functional without enabling optional measurement cookies.

Change later

Use the footer “Cookie settings” control to reopen your choices at any time.

What we store

Your consent choice is stored in a first-party preference cookie so the site can remember whether analytics is allowed. When analytics is allowed, we also set a first-party visitor identifier cookie to estimate unique visitors. These first-party cookies are retained for up to 180 days unless you clear them sooner. Essential service cookies can also be set when you sign in, submit forms, or move through protected parts of the site.

Third-party services

When optional measurement is enabled, data may be shared with Google, Meta, and LinkedIn under their own privacy terms. Each provider publishes information about how it uses data from sites that integrate its services.

U.S. privacy choices

U.S. privacy laws vary by state. Depending on which law applies, you may have rights to know, access, correct, delete, or appeal certain processing decisions, and to opt out of certain kinds of sharing or targeted advertising. Versto provides cookie controls for optional measurement and a contact method for privacy requests.

If your browser sends a recognized Global Privacy Control signal, Versto treats it as a request to keep optional measurement cookies off while that signal remains active.
