Frequently asked questions
Simple answers about what Versto builds, who it is for, and how the work usually starts.
What does Versto actually do?+
Versto is a website agency with a tiered website subscription ladder. The public plans are Foundation Website, Growth Website, and Performance Website, plus a separate Custom Software Systems path for businesses that need software they should own.
What is the difference between Foundation, Growth, and Performance?+
Foundation Website is a website care partnership for keeping the site updated and reliable, and it fits best when the business already has a site or only needs a straightforward setup. Growth Website is an improvement partnership for businesses that need the site to actively support leads, bookings, or sales. Performance Website is a strategic partnership with priority execution, KPI review, fuller reporting, and quarterly roadmap planning for businesses where the website directly drives revenue. All three include onboarding and baseline setup, but each tier represents a different kind of relationship with the work, not just a different volume.
Is there a separate setup fee?+
Not by default. Versto keeps onboarding and baseline setup inside the subscription so upfront cost stays lower. You can choose monthly or annual billing at checkout instead of paying a separate setup invoice first.
How are changes actually handled each month?+
All website plans operate as one active request at a time, with unlimited queued requests. The real difference between tiers is the kind of work Versto handles and how quickly it moves — Foundation focuses on upkeep, Growth on improvement, and Performance on strategic changes with priority queue handling, KPI review, and more proactive planning.
What counts as a typical request?+
Typical requests include content edits, image swaps, CMS updates, layout refinements, CTA or form changes, SEO title and meta updates, landing-page refinements, and light integration adjustments. Larger redesigns, major migrations, advanced integrations, and custom software features sit outside the included monthly scope.
What happens during a quiet month?+
The subscription keeps the partnership active. Versto stays available for requests, and a quiet month is a good opportunity to review the site, plan ahead, or queue work for the next push.
How fast do requests move?+
Foundation targets 3-5 business days, Growth targets 2-4 business days, and Performance targets 1-3 business days. Turnaround starts after Versto has the required access, assets, and approvals.
What happens if we need more than the plan includes?+
If a request goes beyond the scope of the current plan — a redesign program, advanced custom code, or anything that should really be software — Versto will either recommend moving to a higher tier or scope it separately as a project.
Can you help if we already have a website?+
Yes. The plans can improve what is already live, establish a cleaner working baseline, or phase the work so the business does not need to start over all at once.
When do we move from a website plan into Custom Software Systems?+
That move happens when the real need is no longer just the website. If you need proprietary software, a booking management system, a client portal, internal tooling, or an app, Versto scopes that as a separate owned-systems engagement rather than forcing it into the website subscription ladder.
Do you also handle design direction and brand work?+
Yes. Design direction is built into the website subscriptions instead of being sold as a separate public package. The visual direction should support the site and the commercial path it needs to carry.
Do I need to be technical to work with Versto?+
No. You need to understand your business, your offer, and where the website is falling short. Versto handles the technical side and makes the tradeoffs explicit in plain language.
